Tinubu Expresses Condolences for the Late Federal Lawmaker, Danbuga

President Bola Tinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to the House of Representatives following the tragic loss of Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, who served as the dedicated lawmaker representing the Isa/Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto State.

Danbuga's passing occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, marking the end of a brave battle with a brief illness. His final resting place was graced with the solemn observance of Islamic rites.

In an official statement released by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed his deep sorrow over the lawmaker's demise. He emphasized that Mr. Danbuga's untimely departure left an irreplaceable void within his immediate family and, indeed, robbed the people of his constituency of the unparalleled quality and unwavering representation he offered in the esteemed House of Representatives.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and constituents of the late Mr. Danbuga, as well as to the people and government of Sokoto State. My sympathy also goes out to the presiding officers of the House of Representatives and its entire membership as they mourn the profound loss of our distinguished colleague," Tinubu expressed.

"His resounding victory at the polls was, in itself, a testament to the deep affection and respect he commanded among his constituents. His commitment and effectiveness in representing the interests of his constituents in the hallowed halls of the House were truly commendable."

The president further added, "In this difficult moment, my prayers are with the departed soul of Mr. Danbuga. May he find eternal peace, and may his family find solace and divine comfort during these trying times.
